ARTIST IN RESIDENCE PROGRAMME

Áras Éanna has a well-established artist-in-residence programme.

Facilities comprise a large self-contained apartment and studio space with spectacular views out over Inis Meáin and the Atlantic.

The period of residency varies but is generally of 6 weeks to 3 months.

Applications are welcome from writers and composers as well as artists working in all types of media.

APPLICATIONS

Applications are examined once a year:

There is no official application form. Artists are asked to submit the following

A current CV
A stamped self addressed envelope for the return of documentation
A typed cover letter
Documentation of your work

The cover letter should include:

the proposed use of the studio
proposed use of the gallery / workshop space - if relevant
proposed community involvement / projects – if relevant
the length of time the studio is sought for.
